One interesting trend I've noticed is that at once shitlibs tend to be abnormally opposed to great man theory but also abnormally opposed to placing the blame of the second world war on the Nazis and much more specifically onto Herr Fuhrer himself. Green brother teenage romance novelist what's his face is a good example of this.

Also, just as a side note, just because someone was born into fortunate circumstances does not go against great man theory. Even if someone had power granted to them, the fact that that one single man determined the course of history is no less a great man narrative than if he had achieved that success through lifting himself up from his bootstraps.
