Just finished Morning Sun. Was pretty upset we didn't get to see more trauma or consequences related to Darrow's time in the box. Overall this series has so many cliches and shit characters mixed with descriptions that I like and a world that is a yellow light in terms of interesting. Sevro's the only cool guy. For those who have read the other books in the series, are they worth it? I liked how Morning Star tied up.
Also on that note, any books to recc that have actual proper torture segments where the character has a real recovery arc? This one was flimsy and left me wanting to see someone get absolutely beat low.
