On the Road was alright book not that great ,but not really that bad.
My problem with it was that each chapter featured him either getting drunk or him being sad which I could really careless about.
His prose are pretty weird how they flow and Dean is the biggest douche in literature.
All in all I liked the off beat prose and the descriptions of Jazz.
This book really spawned a longing to hit the road in me ,but it will probably fade away just like most of the remarkably banal parts of the book.
OP try reading Savage Detectives. It isn't exactly like On the Road , actually bares little similarity, but it is a book that is always traveling from place to place and perspective to perspective.
