/lit/, I want to know how did you start writing. I'm feeling like I have a lot creative energy to expel and I have never tried writing aside from journaling, which I've been doing a pretty good amount of lately.

Did you read books on composition? What did you write about? How do you find an idea or concept that can grow into something like a story or an essay? I feel like this has been the biggest impasse for me, feeling like I have a lot to say but not being about to think of anything when I have a chance to say it.
