Wow, never heard that before. There have been quite a few times people bitched that my prose was purple when I asked them about it. While I do admit that it's sometimes difficult for me to piece together a cohesive story, my heart of hearts tells me that purpling it up is okay, provided I don't sound too self-indulgent and I don't impede the narrative. Are there any style guides that you suggest? I'm interested in this

That's legitimately pathetic, anon. I'm just trying to help though ;) whatever it is, you have to do something about that. Be creative. If you manage to have value to your time without pressure from the outside at some point in the future, you will hardly believe how weak you once were. Don't forget to eat properly before anything else.
