Best self-help books?

I finished reading Dale Carnegie's books and have been trying to book his books into practice, and of course Marcus Aurelius Meditations.

Is there any good self-help book out there?
something worthy of time? or all of them are just: "asdaklhdaYOU CAN DO ITashdgashdgajhgsdBELIEVE IN YOURSELFkjhsadkhjaskjhdasNOTHING IS IMPOSIBLE..."
and so on

What does /lit/ think of this book?

brahs can we have a thread where we evaluate self-help books? What are the essentials or is it all just fedora-core?

I started to read

because it was used in a lecture on a "fitness day" at the university and caught my interest.

I'm essentially searching for a way to structure my day to day life for more discipline.

What do you think of the book?
Does it deserve to be as successful as it is? Seems to be a big thing.
(I'm on around page 50 and while I like it, there are too many metaphors and the author is also too religious for my taste.)

The 7 Habits yo. I'm 25 with out kids and at basically the beginning of my career. I felt he focused a lot on church, spouse relations and parenting as examples all of which have nothing to do with my life at the moment.
Anyone know of a kind of bachelors guide to similar outcomes?
