There are at least three /lit/ words/phrases that I don't on a deeper level, I understand the meaning of:

- banal
- examined life
- /lit/ lifestyle

I disagree that philosophy is unimportant. But there's the problem that being a philosopher academic can be used just as a means to get and keep on fucking your cute twentysomething students till you're 55 and so many philosophers are just framework builders hoping to make it in that that popularity context. The Smart teacher trope is fetishised by the academics as well as their student, and so even if you find a good idea and topic to work on, it's best to produce a corpus that's hard to digest and impossible to interpret in a concrete way.

When I was a kid I used to think Reading was gay. I thought it was something only nerds (LOTR) and girls (harry potter) did, but then I was tricked into reading. I was tricked when I got sucked into morrowind. By the time I finished my 200 hour play through I realized I've been reading the whole time. Reading my quests, reading dialogue, even reading books within the game.
