funny, but weirdly and ironically correct about HP. Not entirely for the reasons that they suggested (though as an Ortho Christian myself the black magic use by sympathetic characters with no repentance or consequence does irk me) but because it is a book that does not develop children morally.
It's not only the characters that engage in the Inter-House fued >>21775404 but the young developing reader is encouraged to "feel" the angry emotions of the child-characters towards other child-characters, and cheer when they are hurt and fail. Lots of HP readers ended up insufferable liberals who split the world into black and white, good and evil, based on party colors and not personal merit
Can't blame HP for all of it, but is there a link?

I used to hate that book series as a kid but looking back on it for all the self-insert shit in there I think it did one aspect better than Harry Potter that led to its readers becoming less insufferable as grown-ups (though maybe more shallow and coombrained)
Meyer created villains that were interesting and had nuance in motivation rather than just plain evil. Her evil vamp organization is not picking on Mary Sue MC out of spite, they are trying to preserve their way of life and believe that Bella's in the way. This is a stark contrast to the Death Eaters in Harry Potter who mark out a kid as their nemesis and are explicitly portrayed as demonical Nazi snakes
With the political undertone in there its created people like pic-related, who tend to demonize their political opponents. Ironically JK got hoist by her own woke petard after unintentionally helping to normalize the demonization of center right opinons

Every time someone mentioned that maybe its wrong to allow in immigrants with no background checks, or that there's perversions going in in the LGBT community, or anything mildly right of centre sounding but perfectly moral, they got called this bitch's snake-wizard
I am actually curious if she will ever wake up to the fact that "Death Eaters" can have motives too and that normie opinions can be shut down with accusations of bigotry
