Guys, I'm thinking of buying an e-reader, but I'm not quite sure.

I haven't seen ANYONE with one in my country (Austral
ia) and at first I was very skpet
ical to purchase one (Shops don't
 stop them yet Ithink)

However, because of you guys, I've become increasingly more interested in buying one. I have tried reading ebooks from time to time on my laptop, but can never really feel comfortable doing so. But many /lit/ users told me that something like a Sony e-reader, nook, etc are totally different, like reading a real book, but it's smaller and electronic.

The most noticable difference would be the screen I have heard. But are the screens on these readers THAT much different from an LCD? Are
ebook readers worth the couple hundred to purchase one?

This, because I can read ebooks I purchased six years ago on it.
