I've been thinking long and hard about a peaceful solution to cross-boarding radicals trashing /lit/ (and every other interest board on this site), but the only reasonable thing I've come up with is centrist death squads. Am I missing something? It seems ridiculous to concede that we'd have to resort to genocide just so we can talk about books in peace, but it seems like there aren't any good alternatives.

Not sure what you're on about. As an individualist, I engage with all kinds of political traditions. Christian apologetics, various right-wing thinkers, accelerationists, milquetoast social democratic sateism, a bit of critical theory, classically liberal and libertarian texts, you name it. Doesn't mean my perspective isn't limited, but I do try to challenge my preconceptions instead of doubling down on them.

Didn't want to make a new thread for this kind of request: what are some books that accurately depict the female experience in the modern west?
Writers like BEE or Houellebecq only ever deal with this as it presents itself from a guys perspective, what I want is a first-person narrative that explores perspectives like your average female english literature student from a sheltered upper-middle-class background, some average-intelligence minority girl who grew up in a ghetto and was accepted into a prestigious univerity because of diversity quotas or an exchange student either from a middle-eastern or eastern country experiencing the culture shock of campus life.

>OP trying to get the thread started with serious questions
>one or two wall-of-text-type replies
set the bar to high from the start. if you want to have a successful thread on /lit/ you gotta ease people into it with some pleasant tomfoolery.
