Jan 2017 - August 2017: Opinion becomes divided as a result of his popularity and fanbase
August 2017 - Present: Peterson threads are very common and receive overwhelmingly negative responses towards JBP
I know that his fanbase can seem Reddit and Morty tier, but /lit/ is 4chan and 4chan is contrarian, seeking to disassociate itself with pop culture. JBP is now popular, hence he is ruined.
The people who criticise 12 Rules For Life haven't ever read it, because JBP knows what he is talking about when it comes to turning people's life around, because he is a psychologist. Instead, they refer to vague unverifiable criticisms such as 'well he misinterpreted x philosopher so badly' without ever expanding on it.
