/lit/ - Literature

I am looking for something that I would describe as elusive. I looked up in the mega and on internet in general. The book of the new sun has some aspects that I might like but it sounds too convoluted right now for me. I haven't been reading seriously for a while and I want to dwell more in a book's universe, picking up ideas and being immersed.

I liked the movie Stalker for that, this elusive and contemplative feeling in a not-so defined context. Something that can be said as futuristic but not too tech-oriented.

A contemplative book set in a mysterious future/world.
