He never really understood Bataille, even if he desperately tried to be like him, as is evident in his "books" where he attempts to be a sort of modern ďe sade which is laughable to anyone who has actually read Bataille or Foucault or Klossowski since de sade was purely a product of his time and the shifts in episteme and discourse that defined it.
