However since voting is done by everyone choosing their top 5 books, it's not too surprising that despite its influence, no one included it as one of their favourites.

Getting back into reading voraciously after a divorce, I need your help.

Over the years I've been here I've seen multiple lists of the "greatest" examples of literature, and in those same threads I've seen people excoriate those same lists for being too "west-centric", or too "Reddit" (shitting all over r/literature's favorites).

One thread I can't seem to find on warosu had some /lit/izen chime in with some good examples of ancient-ish Chinese literature, while pointing out the limitations of a list like one one in pic related.

Basically, I want to be shown the world. Shining shimmering splendid.
