Use of aphorisms itself should have deeper meaning, this guy just tries to look deep, but all his writing, by which I mean random disconnected sentences with random disconnected aphorisms, is as shallow as anybody whose maze of life wasn't challenging so he doesn't see beyond corner. Just look at that shitty aphorism I just came up with, and compare it with something simple, but way better, like Ezop.
He uses them for basic imagery and can't use them properly to convey hidden meanings, so they are incredibly boring and reading them just isn't fun.
No need to say, that we are way past age of aphorism and functionally written philosphy is superior, eg. Meditations. We are living in fast moving society, we don't usually have time to enjoy good aphorisms and writers of unironically bad ones should be shot.
His writing is needlessly fat just like fat americans who never met hard times in their lives, but like to act otherwise.
