What's the best deity and race in the mythos anons?

Yeah I have the systemitisation of the mythos too. It is pure reddit. The poster in handy though.

Are there any good SF&F podcasts? I've tried a few recommended to me and I cringed from the experience. I do want something that both has recommendations and reviews on past stuff as well as talking about current and upcoming releases. Going into subgenres is also fine!

They seem to be the top of the cosmic animal food chain, still bound to time and space like every other being we know of.

The real deal is at the outer gods level, with beings like Azathoth that is, according to some theories, dreaming the universe we live in, and kept asleep by flutes. Imagine how weird that would be, the beings you dream about want to keep you sleeping so you continue dreaming them. I think Azathoth is strongly inspired by Lord Dunsany's MANA-YOOD-SUSHAI, another sleeping god kept asleep by its own imagination.

And then you have Yog-Sothoth, the gate and the key, the contradiction to the Dao, the knower that knowns itself, the eye that sees itself, the knife that cuts itself, etc.

Is it possible to be afraid while reading a book anymore?
The closest thing I ever come close to feel fear in a piece of media is when I get startled by a dumb jumpscare, or when I feel existential dread after being presented with a disturbing concept

any one have one like that? or many but i need a good image of them. All of them
