Not him nor the other guy, but in my personal experience this has proven to be the case. I'm all for ereaders and I even read in my smartphone (Cool Reader recommended for Android. Being able to change text and background color to whatever you want is the most important feature in my opinion) for convenience when I have nothing more at hand (long bus ride or dentist waiting room) but there's a sort of mnemonic effect when reading a physical book, that it just makes the information pass through more effectively. Like tying a red string around your finger to remember something. Physicality is related to memory.
