Native speakers constantly use "ESL" as an insult to people who actually put effort and hard work towards studying.
Yet they only know their own language through absorption, rather than study, and suffer not only shallow and ugly casual usage, but also common mishearing mistakes like "they're/their" and "should of".

We should make "EFL" an insult instead. By any metric they are more worthy of ridicule than us bilingual chads.
