What's worth thinking about? After I finished nothing returned to me. I truly hate to say this, but Infinite Jest... I hate to say it, I do, but Infinite Jest is better, has bigger scope and mystery and aroused more consideration. I will still tell anyone, even under torture, that 2666 is better...

You know people can do more than talk about books, right? She's not into vidya, I was never into lit, it's healthy for couples to have seperate hobbies.

Allow me to clarify. I'm the brainlet here. She's intentionally giving me books that are basic as hell because I'm not a reader. Up until about 6 months ago, if it wasn't a memoir or a sourced and researched historical book I didn't think it was worth reading. I got on to Hemmingway after reading his essays on WWII. She's a teacher, remember, so she knows better than to overwhelm me with stuff that's way over my head.

Sorry to shit on your robot mentality anon, but believe it or not people are different from one another. Not all women are roasties or Stacy or pseuds.

I don't know what my being a manager has to do with my wife being smarter than I am, but okay.
