What are /lit/'s thoughts on Bram Stoker? I think he's one of the best authors of his time but his career is overshadowed by the fact that he wrote the greatest horror novel of all time. I recommend checking out The Mystery of the Sea, The Jewel of Seven Stars, and The Man (Also called The Gates of Life)

I'm obsessed with Bram Stoker right now, and need advice.

I read Dracula more than a decade ago, and I plan on reading it again. However, I wanted to read some of his other stuff before I reread it. I bought a copy of Bram Stoker collection from Barnes and Noble about five years ago. It had "The Jewel of the Seven Stars" and "The Lair of the White Worm" in it, both of which I just finished. I'm now reading "Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Stories," which is also in it.

I also have a second copy of "Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Stories" with another story collection called "Under the Sunset" slapped on in the back of it, which I plan on reading next.

Has anyone read any of Bram Stoker's other work? Particularly the ones I haven't mentioned above? Either or, what did you think of them, and what do you suggest reading next. I plan on reading all of his work, but I want to know what you think was good, that is not often read by most people.

Over the years I've accidentally brainwashed myself into thinking that this man's name is unironically Bram Stroker.

Can anyone relate?
