Soup /lit/.
My gf is Russian and enjoys Dostoyevsky.
I'm trying to think of a good book to buy her from Christmas and would like something along those lines, that is, classic Russian literature.
She said that she wanted the Russian version of "Gone With the Wind" but wouldn't tell me what book that actually was.
Based off of this, what book should I get her for Christmas?

>You could also say something like: "you know, you remind me of the comfort of a library, a field of ochre flowers, and my favourite parts of autumn"

I don’t remember that well really. I read it a few years ago because I heard a film based on it was coming out. Guess the plot was kinda slow and the prose was neither elegant nor captivating. Also thematically I very quickly rolled my eyes about the figurative and literal vertical class conflict and the living in a mall dystopia thing.
But maybe this is a brainlet approach, let me know your thoughts!

Why do we trust our senses? is it paradoxical not to trust them?
If consciousness is reliable would the senses necessary be reliable too since that’s where I get my knowledge from? What knowledge could I acquire without the use of the senses? I think I’m getting into something here

I am personally responsible for ninety percent of the /pol/, Peterson, and Guenon threads on this board. Ask me anything.
