it's mostly irrelevant anyway and the world becomes unobservable if you assume nothing outside the mind can exist. How do you a explain how a cat gets hungry if it doesn't exist between the time it doesn't appear in your line of sight? There's no explanation that makes sense that fits as well as the one we currently have which lets you make inferences.

The word "exist" becomes small and loses meaning when we realize the philosophical hierarchy is pretty much unchanged by the possibility of existence of matter being either true or false
