What does Kafka have to do with anything we're talking about: perhaps you can "narrow it down" to state your point rather than nebulously non-dropping something you read in high school.
Maybe take the extra effort and demonstrate how Kafka is applicable to the topic at hand. Or perhaps I should go read Kafka's entire body of work hoping to decipher what you're point is...

No it is. These techniques were pioneered in the 1960s and 70s and haven't really progressed that much outside side of some new architectural attempts.
