I have no opinion here one way or the other but I'm young and I'm from a metropolitan, global city and I can tell you that actively seeking out festivals or raves or what not isn't exactly a universal. "Normalfags" who do this and have casual sex lives probably aren't in the majority of people from 18-25. In my (admittedly small) social circle, pretty much no one is a hedonist at all and all the more socialized, extroverted kids from high school ended up being bogged down by responsibilities at work or in post-secondary or have become increasingly focused on long-term, monogamous relationships and pursuing niche hobbies.

lol nope, all these "great men" of history vary wildly between themselves as much as they vary from the general population. I cannot imagine veritable spergs like Carl XI or Claudius or even Bonaparte being amused at a party. Some, like Alcibiades, Alexander or Cesare Borgia would have wanted nothing more than a never ending rave.
Ever since the division of labour and creation of social-strata, the only universal for human life has been different strokes for different folks.

Imagine not being a Randian.
