This is a bad thing. This is the anti-good. Sometimes you realize you're just living one cliche after another, I don't know. It's really disenchanting. Anyways, what I'm getting at here, I'm laying in my bedroom at my Grandma's house. My Grandma is an absolute saint.
Without her I would be on the streets. And here I am, a fucking junky, getting high under her roof. How low can you get? I can hear the town talking about me - "you know Holliday, fucking junky." - "Yeah he blows all his Grandma's money on Roxies." - "I heard he ran away to New York just to do herion." - "I heard he's a faggot, that he sucked dick in Boston for a fix." - etc. That's another thing. Everyone here thinks I'm a fag. There's nothing wrong with being a fag. A lot of my friends are fags, or potential fags. Everyone thinks that me and my acquaintances are fags. Everyone in the Cariboupack. That's my tribe - my gang. The Cariboupack. Everyone knows us, for better or for worse.
