I had a flash idea today for a raucous comedy set in a sort of Roman Empire but sci-fi I suppose. The people kept moaning about the decadence ruining everything, but it was really the constant wars the state was conducting that was draining resources. The decadent and the revolutionaries team up to take over. Side stories resolve and merge... and I heard the theme from Candide

It feels like a waste of money. Few contact hours means shit all teaching and the other students are mostly super lazy/unintelligent. Many teachers are disillusioned by the pathetic students and just roll with it.
