Hello fellow /lit/bros!

I'm starting to write a story and I had a question about what you used to write your story. I met an author who recommended me a Neo2 Alpha smart Word Processor. I was quite interested, mainly for its simplicity, with 8 10k word slots, built in word count and spell check and that's it. I researched for some free/open-source alternatives, as I don't necessarily plan to monetize my project. I found quite a lot, like manuskript, zettlr, bibisco and many more..

Do you have any experience with these? What do you use?
