You should read Husserl, the Presocratics (especially Parmenides), Plato and Aristotle (and possibly Aquinas, Augustine and Bretano) before you read Heidegger or else you will be pretty lost. If you just want to read his works on technology, you can just read Aristotle but still it's not advised to read his works without some knowledge of Greek philosophy up to the Hellenistic era (not necessarily including since he doesn't really deal with Stoicism or other post-Peripatetic schools). I tried that and I got filtered HARD.
