Thoughts on American Psycho? I ended the book feeling very desensitised to the whole thing (which is kind of the point I guess) but felt the endless sexual violence toward the conclusion of the book was a bit much - the stronger scenes were often the ones where Bateman is interacting with his colleagues and 'friends'. To what extent do you think the murders are real or hallucinations/psychosis?

Also the axe murder scene in the movie is literally 1000 times better.
