The Semitic worldview posits monotheism as a-sky-with-only-Yahweh-in-it. There's nothing "up there" but Yahweh. At all. He's all there is "up there". This is why polytheism is considered so heinous and wicked in Judaism, and why the Jews must convert all gentiles to Noahidism, because it is a GRAVE insult to Yahweh to posit that he has anything approximating an equal. In both Judaism and Islam, angels are basically robots. They don't have wills, or minds, they act solely upon Yahweh's will. They cannot have a "favorite color", or a "favorite song", and you can't actually have a conversation with them because they are only capable of repeating what Yahweh has told them to say.

Compare this with Christianity, where God is actually a metaphysical substance that makes up three Persons, so "monotheism" actually refers to this "God-stuff", so we've got a one-god-as-three, and then Aquinas takes Aristotle's idea of Prime Movers (plural, there's 47-55 of them, in Aristotle these are each a God) and says that these are actually angels. So, we not only have one-god-as-three, which while we can argue about if that's technically tritheism or not (I would say that it is not), we also have angels, who because they are actually entities "up there", are basically gods. Christians saw them as such, and offered animal sacrifice and worship to them, with the last vestiges of this dying off around WWII. There's also saints, who are literally just people who have become gods. Oh, there's also the Devil, who in Christianity is basically a minor evil-god running around causing mischief. In Judaism there is no Devil, and Islam Shaytan AKA Iblis is only capable of whispering things in your ear (he, like all Djinn, lacks a body, as Yahweh robbed the entire Djinn race of their bodies when Iblis did not bow to Adam).

The largest problem Jews have (theologically) which Christianity is Jesus's claims of being God, not of his claims of being a Messiah.

Ive recently finnished Crito of Plato and dont know what to read afterwards. Phaedo could be next but its considert a middle dialogue and not an early one so i dont know if i could start with that. Anyone here got advice?

Kids spent a month or two on a fad involving a phone app and a successful media sensation in what is honestly a clever new use of developing technology (the whole 'superimposed animation' shtick) only for the game to fizzle out into relative obscurity like Angry Birds or any other phone app after people figured everything out, but enough wanna-be lecturers and philosophers saw their kids walking around viewing the world through their phones that they proclaimed that the entire world was falling into a technological stupor.

Cookie clicker is the same shit. It's just a game that took out all the elements of a usual game and replaced them with funny nonsense like cookie farms and cosmic grandmas. It was new and funny and was a fad for a while until most people saw how the end of the game turned out and moved on to something else. Maybe a new game will come out this year that features getting married and starting a successful business and it'll be funny enough and unexpected enough to captivate bored teens for a week or two.
Then these same pseuds will write to no end about how the Millennial generation is saved and how post-post-postmodernism has begun or something.
