Sure I'll bite:

12: Quirky, "Gifted" kid. Just took up piano and loved it, doodled animals mostly, started discovering anime. Kinda chubby and introverted but still pretty outgoing.

14: REALLY into anime. Pretty alone in that interest since this was the mid nineties. Spend much of free time either playing piano, doodling (anime and dragons), trading fansub copies, learning HTML, or being generally bored in hs.

16: Anime still around. Seriously into art class more than anything else in school. Still mostly just bored and cynical about it all. Sick for a long period and depressed. Enjoy friends and weirdness and avoiding the stuff most teens do.
>The few novels I had to read for class. Got into reading about eastern philosophy and I think I read the Bible just so I could be more informed with Bible thumpers

18: Super happy, super healthy. Exercise all the time, in a million college classes... love art and honors classes. Hurray the future!
>I was reading some Anne Rice at this time.. For college this was the year of epic poetry.

Now: H.S. English teacher. Art school left me bitter about art in general. Enjoy teaching somewhat, seem more extroverted just because I have to be with this job, listen to a lot of musical and orchestral music, working on numerous writing projects, in grad school. Realize writing is a bigger gift for me than art, and it's the only way out of being a teacher til I'm an old bitty.
>Going through all of the classics and philosophical novels I can. I feel like I'm wasting time when I read a book that I don't get a real experience from (same with movies, tv, music, etc). Also reading comics now, and sometimes manga still.
