What were your favorite parts or what stood out the most?
(For me it was whenever Phil and Mildred engaged and or Phil’s convos with cronshaw and himself)

What did you guys think about this books take on what being in love means, they treat it as a sickness.

I can’t believe we never get to see Cluttons work he was my favorite character next to Phil.

I think philips meaning of life was pretty much on par.

I know Philp likes to romanticize everything’s and sometimes make things deeper then they are. In reference to this, was he just really sexually attracted to Mildred and this is what caused his obsession with her or was it truly some genuine incomprehensible love.

Read this instead anon you won’t regret it. Best book I’ve read so far. It covers everything from the powers of emotion, 1800 century philosophy, art history, meaning of life, individual vs society, all while telling the story of a club footed boy and his particular take on love.
