I just finished this tome and holy shit. Fuck all the pseudo-intellectual cucks on the board who think fantasy can't be literature. This book is art.

is this worth reading? I've heard a lot of varying opinions.

Why the fuck there aren't any epic fantasy books on the wiki?
ITT post your favorite epic fantasy books or series.
Mine: kingkiller chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.

I picked this up a little bit ago, and I'm in about the last quarter of the book. I bought it based on internet reviews just to have something to read.

It's pretty good, other than some pretty heavy handed marysue-ness, and the constant "If you've never done X, you'll never understand Y that just happened".

Does anyone have any just-for-fun fantasy/sci-fi books to recommend? I want a new lead once this one is over, and I don't really like reading sequels right after finishing book 1.
