Hey /lit/ how does it feel to be the ultimate shit-tier board of 4chan?
>not even listed as one of the Creative boards
>everyone claims to be a writer but no good greentext stories ever came out of this board
>can't even make a decent book recommendation
>spends more time writing pseudo-intellectual comments on troll threads
>all this supposed knowledge on writing will amount to you being the laughing stock of publishing houses
Keep trying you faggots.

It's the average /lit/fag trying to get laid but his dick can't get hard because no woman will ever match the complexity of Finnegans Wake.

I need your help, /lit/. I want to write a period piece, but I already know the dialogue is going to be a dickbeat. My story takes place in the UK around the 19th century, and mostly involves the poor and criminals. Do any of you know some accurate resources I could use for phrases and general speech? I have no idea where to start.

Make sure you cover:
1Classical Greeks and Romans
2 The medieval philosophies who tried to mix the philosophy with their revealed religions
3 The moderns

May I also be bold in recommending that you read from the East and not just the Occident?
