Same here, brother. Matriculating to med school this year and I’ve been reading Freud and Jung because I’m interested in psychiatry. But I’m starting to think that anons like:

are correct. From what I’ve read online, it seems that psychotherapy is hardly practiced by psychiatrists because prescribing meds = more $$$. But on the other hand, if people like us are deterred because of those retards then psych will only get worse.

Polytheism is a joke. Gods are merely archetypes for human personalities.

I've read three books from Jung and an idea popped into my head the other day, thought I might share.

Jung stated that the anima was the "relating factor" to the subconscious, and was the psychological factor we projected upon women. He also stated that daydreaming over pornographic material is the consequence of an infantile feeling attitude towards life.

It seems to me that the degradation of of the inner anima relationship predicts sexual degeneracy. What I mean is that in every circle of strange, non - heterosexual individuals, by a measure of both objective observation and inner intuition, I have observed that their anima is underdeveloped or pathologised.

Run this thought experiment for a moment.

When you have sex with a woman, is it not the feeling of what she is experiencing that excites the most? The thought of what your own body feels like for her. Her experience of you. Is this not the reason we so enjoy the sound of her pleasures? Her soft moaning, her expressions and reciprocation.

Could it therefore be said that the efficacy by which you project your anima upon a woman is what dictates your level of sexual enjoyment and arousal? If this is true, then the state of one's anima may be an origin of sexual health. It then also makes sense as to why men with a negative anima will typically degenerate from porn overuse, and struggle to be attracted to and persue women. It would also explain why a negative anima may cause homosexuality - as the ego can easily identify with another male, as this is the conscious nature of the individual.

Or am I fucking retarded?

>Hated by the mainstream world and ignored/discredited by normies (Peterson is meaningless)
>all his predictions came true
>reconciled Nietzschean thought with Western morality
>has the only working model of the psyche that stands up to actual internal study and meditation
>considered psychedelics to be evil and for the unintelligent, they prove all his ideas to be right anyway
>understood the interconnectedness of all beings at some unconscious level, an idea that modern psychology still refuses to discuss despite everyone inherently knowing its true
>understood the importance of race and nation without falling into /pol/ madness
>understood that trying to prove or disprove the metaphysical was a fool's endeavor, sought instead to understand the way it shapes the mind
>described and translated countless ancient symbols of man that before required initiation into some cult to understood
>proved both Christianity AND Paganism to be true without even trying too
>ran his own occult society where beautiful woman flew from all over Europe to bang him
>Was the backbone for all the Japanese media 4chan was founded to discuss

Why do we hate him again?

"About a third of my cases are not suffering from any clinically definable neurosis, but from the senselessness and aimlessness of their lives. I should not object if this were called the general neurosis of our age.”

“I have treated many hundreds of patients. Among those in the second half of life - that is to say, over 35 - there has not been one whose problem in the last resort was not that of finding a religious outlook on life. It is safe to say that every one of them fell ill because he had lost that which the living religions of every age have given their followers, and none of them has really been healed who did not regain his religious outlook.”

What are some recommended books to get into the Jungian analysis in psychology, archetypes, psychic alchemy, etc.?
