Was Junger autistic?

Currently reading Storm of Steel. It's pretty good really, but don't get this translation.
It was advertised as the original translation, which, on other circumstances I would advocate for as they are what made the book popular in the first place.
But I noticed in one part that the translation said
>At the first shot of my magazine, my revolver dropped out
I presume Junger had a Luger P08, which would explain that a "magazine" dropped out of his gun. But a revolver does not have a magazine
It's a small detail, but it really just casts doubt over pretty much everything else except the bits still in french
