Why would I tell a lie?

lt is I who am Shu,
whom Atum created on the day that he developed.
I was not built in the womb,
I was not tied together in the egg,
I was not conceived in conception.
My father Atum sneezed me in a sneeze of his mouth,
together with my sister Tefnut.
How she emerged was after me,
while I was still hooded with the air of the Phoenix's throat,
on the day that Atum developed
out of the Flood, out of the Waters,
out of the Darkness, out of Chaos.
It is I who am Shu, father of the gods,
in search of whom, together with my sister Tefnut, Atum had sent
his Sole Eye.
I am the one who made it possible for it to give brilliance to the
Darkness.
It found me as a man of infinite number:
I am the begetter of repeated millions
out of the Flood, out of the Waters,
out of the Darkness, out of Chaos.
It is I who am Shu, begetter of the gods.

And as regards the Hiranyagarbha.
>When, they say, the wind fell in love with its own beginnings and a blending took place, that entanglement was called Desire. ... And from its self-entanglement—the wind’s—came Mot. Some say this was mud, some say the ooze from a watery mixture. And from this came the whole seed of creation and the genesis of all things ... and it was formed like the shape of an egg.

Damascius:
Without question, according to this theology, too, Time (Chronos) as the
serpent begat a triple offspring: Aither, which he calls “watery,” and indefi-
nite Chaos, and third after these is misty Erebus. And the second triad is
analogous to the first, although it is dynamic, as the first was paternal.91 And
so the third member of it is also misty Erebos, and the paternal element and
the one extreme is Aither, not unqualified, but moist, and the middle term is
indefinite Chaos. (III 162) But in the midst of these principles [the traditions]
says, Time (Chronos) begot an egg, and this tradition makes [the egg]
the offspring of Time (Chronos), and as birthed among these gods, because
the third intelligible triad also proceeds from them. What then is this third
intelligible triad? It is the egg. The dyad consists of the two natures in the
egg, male and female, and the multiplicity [corresponds to] the various seeds
in the middle of the egg. And third after these is the god with two bodies,
with golden wings on its shoulders, which has the head of bulls growing
from his sides, and on the head a huge dragon likened to all manners of
beasts. This must be understood as the intellect of the triad; the many kinds
of being constitute the middle term, and the power is the dyad, but the egg
itself is the paternal origin of the triad. And the third god belongs to this
third triad, whom the theology celebrates as Protogonos and also calls him
Zeus the disposer of all things and the entire world, and therefore he is also
called Pan.

All myths are double entendres.

§5.6.6. If we have indeed stated these matters correctly, the Good
would not have any sort of room for thinking, for the Good must
be other than that which is thinking. It is, then, without the activity
[of thinking]. And why should activity be additionally active? For
generally, no activity has a further activity. But even if some are able
to attribute to actualities other activities directed to something else, that
which is primary amongst all, that on which everything else depends,
must be allowed to be what it is, with nothing added to it. Such an
activity, then, is not thinking. For it does not have something to think.
For it is first.
Next, it is not thinking that thinks, but that which has the thinking.
Two things, then, again, arise in that which is thinking. But the Good is
in no way two.
Further, one could better see what this is if one grasped more clearly
how in everything which is thinking this dual nature exists. We say
that Beings, both collectively and individually, that is, the Beings that
are truly Beings, are in the ‘intelligible place’. This is not only because
some things stay as they are due to the substantiality they have, while
there are things in the realm of sense-perception that flow and do not
stay as they are – though perhaps there are even things among sensibles
that do stay as they are – rather, it is because they have the perfection of
existence from themselves. For that which is said to be primary
Substantiality must not be the shadow of existence, but rather have the
fullness of existence. And existence is full when it receives the form of
thinking and of life. Thinking, therefore, living, and existence are
together in the realm of Being. If, therefore, there is Being, then there
is Intellect; and if there is Intellect, then the thinking is together with its
existing.

The sky’s doorway has been opened, the Cool Waters’ door has been
pulled open, for Teti himself at daybreak, that he might emerge into
the Marsh of Reeds and become clean in the Marsh of Reeds.
So, Teti will become clean, receive his metal bones, and extend to
himself his imperishable limbs that are in the belly of his mother Nut.
Sun, give your arms to Teti.
Shu shall take him to be a companion of Shu, for Teti has been suckled
with the milk of the two black cows who are the nurses of the
bas of Heliopolis.
Hepatj, the sky’s belly has swollen with the force of the god’s seed
that is in it. Behold Teti: Teti is the god’s seed that is in it.
Hepatj, Heneni, Zemnenu, Teti has become clean and received his
god’s-cloak, and Teti will establish himself through it like them as a god.
Hepatj, Heneni, Zemnenu, take Teti, settle him as one of you.

RECITATION. You canal-swimmer of Horus with black front, who is on
the Sun’s neck: you are for the sky and Teti is for the sky.

RECITATION. Horus’s fetcher desires Teti because he has gotten his eye.
Seth’s fetcher desires Teti because he has gotten his testicles.
Thoth’s fetcher desires Teti.
The two Enneads have shaken (with fear) for them, for they are the
very fetchers who desire Teti, the fetchers to peace, and they shall
fetch Teti to peace.

RECITATION. Teti is (a snake) with sweeping visage and continually lifted
front, a star to whom the gods bow and the two Enneads shake.
Teti’s hand is what will elevate him.

RECITATION.Teti is (a snake) with sweeping visage and continually lifted
front, a star to whom the gods bow and the two Enneads shake.
The face of Teti is a face that sees his elevation; Teti is a breathing nose.

RECITATION. Teti will go forth to the sky on the cushion in the prow
(of the standard): its sandal has been grasped by the elevated hand.

RECITATION.Teti will go forth to the sky on the cushion that is in the
prow: its sandal has been grasped.
Teti is a breathing nose; the face of Teti is a face that sees his elevation.

RECITATION.Teti is that one who emerged from the Coiled One:
Teti has emerged from his fiery blast, while he is turned away.
The two skies have gone to Teti, the two lands have come to Teti.
Teti has stepped on the green vine under Geb’s feet, and he will trample
Nut’s paths.

RECITATION. Teti has become clean on the hill of land on which the
Sun has become clean.
He shall set the stepladder and erect the ladder, while those of the
west are grasping his arm.

RECITATION. Greetings, Sun, who travels the sky and crosses Nut. You
have traveled the Winding Canal and Teti has grasped your tail, for
Teti is a god, a god’s son.
Teti is the blossom that emerged as ka, the gilded blossom that emerged
in Iseum.

The east begins/began east of Taurus mountains and Caspian sea.

Also Orpheus was from Thrace.

Did my post not literally say that?
I''m talking about the philosopher use of them as valid sources, if Homer seemingly says something but Hesiod says another, then you must reinterpret Hesiod in favor of Homer, same with Hesiod and Orpheus. It's like Plato and Aristotle, you can question Aristotle but not Plato. The point of my post was that Hesiod was not called a prophet or thought of as infallible, he was a reporter of others not someone who himself witnessed the heights.

Khnum creator of all peoples and all life
Formed all on his potter's wheel,
Their speech differs in each region,
And clashes with that of Egypt.
He created precious things in their lands,
That they might bear their products abroad,
For the lord of the wheel is their father too,
Tatenen who made all that is on their soil.
They produce their supplies---thus the people of Ibhat---
To nourish themselves and their children.
As his mouth spat out they were born straightaway,
Without pause henceforth the wheel turns every day.

All your creatures give you thanks,
You are Ptah-Tatenen, creator of creators,
Who in Iunyt brought forth all that is.
He feeds the chick in the nest in its time,
He makes its mother eject it in time.
He made mankind, created gods,
He fashioned flocks and herds.
He made birds, fishes, and reptiles all,
By his will Nun 's fishes leap from the caverns,
To feed men and gods in his time.
He made plants in the field,
He dotted the shores with Rowers;
He made fruit trees bear their fruit,
To fill the needs of men and gods.
He opened seams in the bellies of mountains,
He made the quarries spew out their stones.

Zeus is both Apollo and Dionysus.
Zeus in the Iliad is also not the same Zeus every time he's mentioned or appears, but Zeus in different modes of being.
There's also the error of reading everything in the Iliad literally, this is why Plato leaned towards not allowing the plebs to read divine Homer.

Suffering is nothing but the sensation, and/or knowledge, and/or intuition, that your present situation is worse than it has been or could be.
There can't be Time, Freewill and value (God being the Good), without there being suffering. It is the presence of potential for improvement.
Do you wish to exist without the option for progression? You can't have free will without the reality of change, you can't have change without loss. One can even say that to exist as an individual implies that you have a will, otherwise you'd would only be a cog in the wheel and not actually exist (qualia is then illusory), this then implies that evil does not exist because perpetrator and victim don't exist.
One can of course argue that the magnitude of suffering is unfairly high, but absolute freedom and the lack of a ceiling of ascension of good = the lack of a bottom of pain.

If there is but the One, then there's nothing for you to do or not do, or do instead of something else.
If there is something other than the one, then this comes from the One and is good.
And the purpose of being can not solely be to return to the One in an existential state.
Starving to death on your ass is not the Good.
God is every life and every pain, every joy and every death.
Every wound will be healed, every tragedy is redeemed in beauty.

Say: “I am the child of Earth and starry Heaven;
But my race is heavenly; and this you know yourselves.
I am parched with thirst and I perish; but give me quickly
refreshing water flowing forth from the lake of Memory.”

O you eight Infinite Ones, who are at the parts of the sky,
whom Shu made from the efflux of his limbs,
who tie together the ladder for Atum!
Come to meet your father in me!
Give me your arms,
tie together a ladder for me.
I am the one who created you,
I am the one who made you,
as I was made by my father Atum.
For I am weary at the Uplifting of Shu,
since I lifted my daughter Nut atop me
that I might give her to my father Atum in his utmost extent.
I have put Geb under my feet: this god is tying together the land for my father Atum,
and drawing together the Great Flood for him.
I have put myself between them without the Ennead seeing me.
lt is I who am Shu,
whom Atum created on the day that he developed.
I was not built in the womb,
I was not tied together in the egg,
I was not conceived in conception.
My father Atum sneezed me in a sneeze of his mouth,

nothing it's an allegory of the constitution of heaven and not about big scope politics at all; it is a journey of reality, beginning in the lowest realm of body and individual mortal life all the way up through the nine worlds (which we find in the nine hypotheses of Parmenides) and to the ineffable wheel of the eternal whole.

Laws is Plato's major work of politics (and also the culmination of all the other dialogues, which are in perfect harmony).

I will speak for those entitled, close your doors, ye profane.

INEFFABLE, HIDDEN, BRILLIANT SCION, WHOSE MOTION IS WHIRRING, YOU SCATTERED THE DARK MIST THAT LAY BEFORE YOUR EYES AND, FLAPPING YOUR WINGS, YOU WHIRLED ABOUT, AND THROUGH THIS WORLD YOU BROUGHT PURE LIGHT

>BACCHUS I call, loud-sounding and divine,
>Fanatic God, a two-fold shape is thine:
>Thy various names and attributes I sing,
>O, first-born, thrice begotten, Bacchic king:
>Rural, ineffable, two-formed, obscure,
>Two-horned, with ivy crowned, euion, pure.
>Bull-faced, and martial, bearer of the vine,
>Endued with counsel prudent and divine:
>Triennial, whom the leaves of vines adorn,
>Of Jove and Proserpine, occultly born.
>Endued with counsel prudent and divine:
>Triennial, whom the leaves of vines adorn,
>Of Jove and Proserpine, occultly born.

Of the First-born king, the neverending one; and upon him all the immortals grew, blessed gods and goddesses and rivers and lovely springs and everything else that had then been born; and he himself became the sole one.
