I bought these in June and only read Silence. Didn't resonate much and was a bit tedious. May have more impact if one is religious.

Now and then I read a few entries from Little People and then imagine the beings I read about are going about their lives in my yard and areas nearby when I go for walks.

I've fallen in to heavy skepticism over the past years and have found it boring and uninspiring, I'm trying to restore a sense of wonder and curiosity that I'd thrown away. A Field Guide to the Little People was mentioned in a recent thread and it caught my eye. It's wonderful, a nice collection of European folklore concerning dozens of species of elves with information on each and most have a handful of tales to go along.

Silence I picked up because I've been reading a lot of Japanese fiction, and I've had a recent curiosity about Christianity, so it sounded interesting.

I've wanted to read the John Williams books for awhile, and I, Claudius popped up when looking for Augustus.
