Found a picture of young OP.

Feel for you bro, but you can always deflect your hideousness by being incredibly talented at something with relentless and meticulous practice.

Which were the greatest 50 consecutive years for literature?

It's that sad guy again ;_;
>these feels

I hope he hasn't killed himself yet.
Can't we find him and turn him into a beautiful, popular person like they do in the movies, or something?

Shut up OP, your stupid thread about something nobody cares about is irrelevant right now.

Hello e/lit/ists, do you feel like doing a kindness to a fellow anon?
I'm sorry it has come to this but I must now beg for a Bibliotik invite.

I've been browsing /lit/ for 2~ years and I always hoped I would get one through good luck, but as invite-giving grew less frequent I began to lose my patience.

If I get one, all I can do is promise I will make good use of it. I even plan to share stuff on request threads in case I find it in the tracker.

Why me? Let me just say that I have contributed to /lit/ on a few occasions, not to get anything in exchange, of course, but just because it felt good.

Thus, I made the original Hispanic (then wrongly called "Spanish"), American and Japanese lit charts you now see on the /lit/'s wiki. I also translated a Spanish interview of Borges (you can also find it in the wiki).
I scan or OCR stuff on my free time, something I plan to keep on doing if I ever join that promised land. So far, I've uploaded a few books (Musashi, Will o' the wisp, American Stories, Confessions of a Mask).

I already have experience with private trackers. I have a ratio of 1.05~ on one, with over 13 TB uploaded. I'll provide proof to any (even the charts) of the above claims if necessary.

tl;dr: Make a wish anonymous edition

I feel as though that there is a great war in the literature world today.
One side is the populist book consumers, who read for cheap pleasure and superficiality. Books like Fifty Shades of Gray, Million little pieces, Da'Vinci code. Literature created for the masses, that's really watered down, and in no way justifiable as actual literature.

Then we have the other idiots who have taken avant-gardism and irony to new levels of stupidity. Finnegans Wake, Gravity's Rainbow, and Infinite Jest. These nincompoops are just as superficial and cheap as the populists, yet they try to veil their stupidity by claiming to read literature which itself veils its own stupidity with irony and ambiguity.

Then we have the legacy readers and writers, who read classics, appreciate good writing, and who try to travel to new literary landscapes while still respecting the literary legacy of English literature.

/lit/ is comprised mostly of groups 1 and 2.

There are barely any new legacy readers or writers on /lit/, which makes this place horrible to come to now.

ITT: Tripfag talks to himself in hopes of getting attention.

One of the most pathetic things I have ever seen.

Guys! What the fuck!

All I want to do is 420 and browse the internet but "the man" won't let me! "The man" wants me to get a job and stuff!

Fuck this gay earth not letting me 420 24/7. What kind of dystopian Orwellian world is this? People are imprisoned for doing and selling 420.

Ron Paul for Prez!
