I like learning new words but let's be honest: he can be fucking ridiculous.

Do you know what privet is?
Do you know what it means for something to be kilned?
Do you know what sleavings are?
What about soffits?
What does any of this add to the passage?
Is your experience better for having been made to look up these words?
