idk, I think Chestnut misses the point here. Nietzsche's point is not to say , in The Genealogy of Morals, "slave morality in indeed a trick, rise up and conquer ye masters" as some kind of moral prescription. I think this is where Chestnut goes wrong. Nietzsche says in the very same book that those who invent ressentiment are more clever than those who are not wise to it. He uses it as an explanation for why Jews and Christians were able to overpower Roman paganism in a struggle for survival. It has nothing to do with who is "right" or "wrong" in the situation, or what you "should do" - his interest is only in giving an account of which force was historically stronger. I don't really detect this kind of insight in Shakespeare.
