Is Cyrenaic Hedonism the best way of life for the modern day?
It takes into account both our evolutionary imperatives while also encouraging a pretty straightforward path to happiness while at the same time not turning people into zombies or pushing them towards nigh impossible lifestyles

Though there were apparently other schools of thought along these lines, they weren’t popular enough to keep writing them down and are lost. Probably a dumb one about semen retention but indulging in all other pleasures. Doesn’t matter. Check Aristippus, but I and others in the thread recommend sensible Epicureanism

What arguments, if any, are there against Hedonism? When I refer to Hedonism here, I mean the more pop-culture type of hedonists engaging in orgies, feasts, drugs etc.
What reasons are there not to fill life with such pleasures?

What are some arguments against Hedonism? If life has no inherent meaning, why not simply indulge in its pleasures?
