Ah yes, the rush of petty crime. Something far beyond the comprehension of normal man.

You guys just don't get it. We need to feel cool and edgy and instead of actually doing something worthwhile we act like ignorant scum and then pass it off as something an admirable man would do.

[ERROR]

Hello, I come to your aid /lit/. I have this paper I have to write for my school, "A childhood accident" and I'm not sure my spelling is correct. So, I give you a story to read and if you spot any spelling mistakes then please, report back :)

A Terrible Accident

This happened to me about nine years ago, in the winter. I was skiing with my mother at the local sports centre. I was quite good at skiing because we did it in P.E., but I had never tred to ski down any hills. We had been skiing for quite some time and it was already dark, but despite that I decided to ski down a hill. I was confident I could do it so I ignored my mothers warnings and went up the hill. My mother went to the end of the path to wait for me. Once I had reached the top of the hill I immideatly realized that it was rather steep, but I thought I could do it, so I pushed myself off the edge. I started to gain speed very quickly, but there were tracks in the snow so I managed to stay on the road. I was nearly down when I suddenly felt that the ground below had got very slippery and the tracks had disappeared. I lost my balance and fell onto my leg. I heard a crack and suddenly felt a really sharp pain in my leg.
I had finally come to a standstill and I saw my mother running towards me. She called the ambulance and I was taken to the hospital. My leg was put into a cast and I had to wear it for a month, but I made a full recovery.

So yeah, a rather lame story but I will get a mark for it so it needs to have correct spelling.

[Pseudo-intellectual, fight club inspired bullshit implying the human race hasn't always been shit, and has just gone down hill in the last few years.]

I want to read a book about revolution or related things.
Whether it be the french revolution, something about stalin/hitler, whatever.. i just want to read something interesting and learn some history.
At the moment I'm leaning towards "Days of the French Revolution" by christopher hibbert.

So, what do you say makes a true, classic literary antagonist. Like, not just the actions they take, but their motivation, their desires, their legacy. Through all of these aspects of their character, what makes a truly remarkable and memorable antagonist?
