It is an education in how language can be used. Mervyn Peake paints with words in a sense, the musicality of the prose is something to be heard. I have the audiobooks read by Simon Vance,and his interpretation adds even more sparkle to the written work.

I am a big fan of Mervyn Peake and Gormenghast (the first two books at least),and would like to know if anyone can recommend any other books by him. Audiobooks preferred,but I may hunt down the time to read one.
