>Explain to me why nondualism is heresy in the Catholic Church
It is actually pretty fucking simple.

Catholicism believes in creation ex nihilo, that the world is separate from God and has actual BEING, and that salvation is not a reintegration into God.

I will never fucking understand you dweebs who clearly think non-dualism is the actual truth yet you cling like rabid dogs to Christianity. You'd rather spend the rest of your life remaking Christianity with lies and perversions than to just seriously consider your wicked attachments to the Christian religion. Stop trying to cut the corners off the square peg of Christianity just so you can fit it into the round hole of non-dualism. Discard the square peg.

well the first half of this post was correct but I've never used discord. And yes. I usually save links and good quotes for Advaita/Buddhism in a docfile which is why I've posted the links once or twice here when someone asked for it. I even remember someone saying I was guenonfag the first time I did it but I had no idea it was gonna spiral into a manhunt like this. Is that really your email?

spooky stuff!

Beginning to see the distinction now. Thanks friends.
>But once you reach moksha it becomes totally unreal?
I suppose so. Although while you're still alive it is still there but instead of being in illusion you say/think "this is illusion". From being deluded to viewing delusion.

At least this is what I've gathered from my readings. Been a while since I studied Advaita though.

>To be fair, how is this not just a subtle extension of dualism, of subject-object dichotomy?
Not that guy but the Atman wouldn't experience an object that is Nirvana. It would be just be pure Consciousness without any Objects, and this would be the state of Nirvana.

Documentary about an Ashram/gurukulām that I watched yesterday. It was pretty interesting, didn't look as comfy as the documentaries on Buddhist monasteries I've seen though
