You are correct, I assumed they live in a city. Still, many hallucinogens grow in the wild which then can get ahold of, which aren't illegal simply because it's impossible to regulate.

Depends on where you live and where you get it from, you're generally safe if you've only bought a single lsd blotter. Drug scams on the deep web are also rather rare unless you go to very phishy sites no one knows, which you shouldn't be doing unless you're looking for something very specific and very illegal.
