The English have Shakespeare, The Italians Dante, The Spanish Cervantes, but what about the French? No author comes to mind. Of course one can name many excellent French writers, but no single one of them stands out. Could it be Moliere?

I judge a philosopher's worth by how much of an impact he had on the real world, its politics, history, science and other philosophers. If he's some nobody faggot forgotten by history and read only by edgy internet contrarians I don't even bother reading his works.

Isn't Christianity kind of like larping as a Jew? I'm not asking in bad faith, i finally decided to read it and it's nothing but Jewish tales. The part at the end of Matthew where he tells Peter to preach to the Gentiles almost feels appended.
