It's a collection of anecdotes and observations written from the perspective of a chronically unstable man exhibiting schizotypal and hysterical tendencies, explaining how he managed to minimize friction in his day-to-day life through retreating into his own mind using occult-adjacent Jungianism and Depth Psychology. For me, one of the most interesting aspects of the book was how Peterson almost constantly lets on that he is morbidly afraid of women.

While they are all miserable and hopeless they continue to live even if they would rather otherwise. They see their problems as things placed upon them by those they trusted the most. They are the sense of helplessness that inhibits and restricts people, despite all logical thoughts. To say /r9k/ is pathetic is to say "I have never felt a sense of sorrow, and for that I am happy." While you believe that you are speaking the truth it is a case of meaningless truth. They are pathetic because they can not see a reason to be happy, but we are pathetic for being unable to give them a reason to be happy.

They sit there and they make fists hoping to punch the world, yet all they do is hurt themselves when they see its reflection.

I am able to conjure words with meaning but they seldom expand past 400 words. I've been looking at other short stories and they are all past 1,000 words. My problem is not that I am fatigued from prowess but that I am baffled at the expansion. How can one write more when less is appropriate. I seek your guidance now /lit/.
