It's so nefarious how unscientific it is him correlating "selfish" capitalism with an increase in mental illness. he totally pulled it out of his ass

I made a youtube video explaining Mark Fisher's book, but in it he dissents (in chapter 6) from Nick Land's interpretation of unmasking capitalism. So I explain that. How Nick Land's decentralized AI economy would unmask capitalism by getting rid of marketing and advertising, and "The Big Other" as Zizek called them.

I made a video criticizing that book. I mention Nick Land too because Fisher disagreed with Land on chapter 6 about how pure capitalism (run by decentralized AI which is impervious to "the Big Other") wouldn't "unmask" capitalism, but instead it would mask it even more because advertising and marketing campaigns are intrinsic to capitalism.
