You'd be surprised at who remembers you anon. You have nothing to lose, just ask your profs. Make the emails long and nice and praise what they did for you and so on. And for god's sake, start writing. You only need 10 pages. Write a short story or a Marxist analysis of the Great Gatsby or whatever is appropriate for your desired program.
